Fall Softball 2024

10U / 12U / 14U (Minor, Major, Juniors) Division Girls Fall Softball.

What is WDRLL Fall Softball? Fall softball provides the opportunity for continued player development in the "offseason" with less time commitment. The primary goal is to help players prepare for the upcoming spring season, while continuing to play and practice with friends. Standings are not kept and there are no playoffs. Multi-sport athletes are welcome!

The Fall registration fee is $175 per player, with a $25 discount for signing up multiple players. The season will begin after Labor Day and end before Thanksgiving. Your registration fee includes a uniform shirt to keep. There is NO SNACK STAND DUTY for Fall Softball!

The goal is to assemble teams in the 14U (Junior), 12U( Major), and 10U (Minor) divisions. There are no eligibility requirements for Fall softball. All players, regardless of school or residency, can play. Our recommendation is that players sign up for the division they are hopeful to participate in next Spring, based on the age chart below.

2024 AGE GUIDE

10U (Minors): Players born between 9/1/13 – 8/31/15
12U ( Majors): Players born between 9/1/11 – 8/31/13
14U (Juniors): Players born between 9/1/09– 8/31/11

Note: Regardless of what division your daughter plays in during the Fall, it has no impact on placement for the Spring 2025 season.

Practice and Game details below (subject to change)

-- Practices - The following is an estimate based on prior Fall seasons.

1 field practice at Westchester Park (field space already reserved) - weekday
1 batting practice at Nielsen - weekday

-- Games

Minors: 1-2 games on Sunday (possibility of some Saturday games)
Majors/Juniors : 1-2 games on Sunday. Juniors may play an occasional Saturday and occasional Sunday "short time-limit" double headers.
Locations: Local fields on the Westside and South Bay
WDRLL will host occasional Sunday home games but more than half of the games will be away for Fall (pending field availability with AYSO Soccer).

Registration is open now at www.wdrll.org, and the Fall registration fee is $175.00. Deadline to register is September 1^st.
